The yacht charter industry is slowly adopting more and more technology, and rightly so. We have been leveraging technology within our operations at Most Sailing to ensure that our clients’ charters start smoothly while creating efficiencies within our operations. We believe that we are providing the most convenient and efficient service to everyone.
This is one of the reasons why we teamed up with Floatist last September.
Before Floatist, we used to spend a lot of hours doing physical check-ins for each boat. Today, our clients can execute the check-in process on their own, which we complete by answering their questions. By freeing up our time, we are able to concentrate on our client relationships to ensure we offer the best service and recommend the best routes for their charter. We use Floatist for all check-ins and check-outs, agreeing on our terms and conditions and boat maintenance.
How do we work with the Floatist App?
We send a link to our guests’ smartphones on the day of arrival. They come onboard and start the check-in process on their own. The app follows the check-in workflow that we designed for each boat, including pictures and videos as appropriate. Once they finish their self-check-in, we answer any questions they may have. Then we jointly sign off the check-in as completed on the app. They can see/agree to our terms and conditions on the app as well. Once they come back from their charter, we open the app and walk through the check-out workflow together, controlling all matters in the boat. Once finished, we again jointly sign off to complete the official check-out.
The Floatist App has simply increased our service quality to clients – we now have more time to build relationships with each client and ensure they get the best experience with Most Sailing. The app also allowed us to ensure we never miss a maintenance or cleaning schedule on any of the boats. All of our staff communicate through the app, and everyone knows the status of each boat at any moment in time.
We can’t wait for a busy summer season ahead, and with Floatist, we know everything will be taken care of when it comes to the admin side so we can ensure our clients have the best time out on our fleet.
